Recent Adventures

South Pole

Doc recently joined a polar exploration team as they left Punta Arenas in Chile to fly to the white continent where they cross country skied to the South Pole. Thank you Eric Lillstrom and Polar Explorers.

Camping in Alaska and Canada

Doc was invited on a 3 month camping trip that allowed him to explore Wisconsin, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, British Columbia, Alaska, Yukon Territory, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Minnesota. His journey covered 10,481.1 miles. Thanks to Rose and James for taking me along.

Motorcycle trip around Lake Michigan in 1 day

Doc joined Matt Coyne on a 1000 mile motorcycle ride around Lake Michigan to help earn Matt's long-distance riding certificate from the Iron Butt Association ( I guess Doc is an honorary member) and also a fundraiser for Avenues to Independence - a non-profit organization dedicated to helping adults with disabilities.

North Pole

Doc was able to go to the North Pole with Polar Explorers. He saw and encountered a Polar Bear in his camp.
